Betnacional secures naming rights to women’s football tournament in Brazil

Betnacional has acquired the naming rights to the Copa Maria Bonita, a women’s football tournament to be held in Pernambuco.
From this year, the competition will be known as Copa Maria Bonita Betnacional and will take place between 2 and 11 October 2025 at Arena Pernambuco in Camaragibe.
The tournament brings together nine clubs from across Brazil’s Northeast region, including popular ones like Fortaleza and Botafogo. Over 14 matches, teams will compete for one of the main titles in the women’s regional calendar.
Matches will be broadcast via YouTube, in addition to Sportv and other streaming services.
Arena Pernambuco, the tournament’s venue, hosted games during the men’s FIFA World Cup in 2014 and has also been listed among the potential stadiums for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2027.

The naming rights deal adds to Betnacional’s existing involvement in football in the region, which already includes partnerships with Sport Recife and the Campeonato Pernambucano.
