Kalshi provides implied betting odds for Kelce-Swift engagement

The couple confirmed their engagement via social media, leading to the predictions market operator providing implied odds for events such as if the wedding will occur before 2026.

Following the engagement of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and well-known recording artist Taylor Swift, Kalshi has begun offering odds on events such as whether the two will get married prior to the end of 2025, as well as if Swift will perform at the Super Bowl LX halftime show in February 2026. 

Currently, Kalshi places a 13% chance the wedding is held prior to January 1, 2026, as the figure typically averaged 5% before the engagement was announced via Swift’s social media on August 26. 

The predictions market operator also provides implied odds of -144 that Swift will be named as the Super Bowl LX halftime performer by the National Football League (NFL), while fellow music artists such as Post Malone and Metallica hold implied odds of +400 and +733, respectively. 

In Ontario, FanDuel sportsbook is offering consumers a parlay wager priced at +850 at the time of writing, where Swift would have to be named as the halftime performer with the Chiefs also needing to win the AFC conference. The two originally began dating in July 2023, as many began looking for ways to place wagers on when the couple would get engaged, including a $50,000 bet placed on Polymarket for 2025. 

DraftKings also made an effort to market the engagement, offering a “New Era, Same Kelce” bet where the tight end would need to score at least 12 receiving touchdowns to cash odds of +1000, while “Love Story” includes the Chiefs winning Super Bowl LX at +850 odds.

According to Kalshi, the market to predict which performer will take the stage in February 2026 has been highly active, witnessing a betting handle of over $800,000 up to this point. 

While the August 26 announcement may have played a small part in favoring Swift, the operator reported a heightened level of wagers after the artist appeared on Kelce’s podcast on August 15. 

At the time of writing, the market to determine if the two will get married prior to 2026 has a reported handle of $78,000, although choosing “yes” would require the couple to hold the wedding in the middle of the 2025-2026 NFL regular season. 

Kansas City is currently +800 on FanDuel to win Super Bowl LX, which would represent the franchise’s fourth championship since 2020.
