- O’Mahony brings extensive industry experience as a CPO to the role
- He will now oversee all the supplier’s ongoing product initiatives
Supplier Relax Gaming has announced a new Chief Product Officer (CPO) in Tony O’Mahony, who is set to join the supplier following a previous CPO stint at Casumo.
Indeed, this appointment sees O’Mahony step into his fourth CPO role – after he also spent a year in the position with Gibraltar-based A5 Labs and, prior to that, Gaming Innovation Group. Having also held senior product roles and both Paddy Power and Lottoland, O’Mahony is well placed to take over from previous Relax Gaming CPO, Shelley Hannah, as part of a role that will see him spearhead all product-related initiatives and innovations for the supplier.
Specifically, his role will include overseeing both strategy and execution – as well as liaising with the commercial, technical and operational departments of the company.
Commenting on his appointment, O’Mahony said, “I’ve long admired Relax Gaming for its product-led ethos, strong values and standout reputation in the industry. I’m genuinely excited to be joining such a talented and passionate team, and I’m looking forward to helping build on the foundations already in place. Product success is always a team effort, and I can’t wait to get started, meet the wider team, and play my part in what’s next for Relax.”
Also speaking was Martin Stålros, CEO at Relax Gaming, who said, “We’re delighted to welcome Tony to Relax Gaming. His deep product knowledge, coupled with extensive industry experience, make him an ideal fit for the next phase of our growth.
Good to know: In June, Relax Gaming announced a new launch in Pennsylvania via partnership with BetMGM
“Tony’s collaborative approach and strategic mindset align perfectly with our culture, and I’m confident he’ll have a major impact as we continue to push the boundaries of innovation.”
Prior to this, in February, the supplier also entered into a new US collaboration with DraftKings, launching its content via the operator’s platform in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Ontario.
The company previously made an additional Ontario-based deal with PointsBet in Q4 2024, after becoming one of the first suppliers to enter the provincial iGaming market upon its opening in 2022.
