Nevada gaming revenue increases 3.5% to $1.3bn in June 2025

The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has released the state’s gaming revenue figures throughout June 2025, having increased its total revenue by 3.5% year-over-year to generate $1.3bn. All areas of Nevada besides Elko County witnessed revenue growth from the prior year period in June 2025, including the Las Vegas strip and Downtown areas which increased 0.9% and 10.5% year-over-year, respectively, to account for $765.3m and $73.2m.
Laughlin and Boulder Strip managed to generate June 2025 revenues of $40m and $87.3m, respectively, equating to growth of 6.6% and 19.3% from the prior year period. As a whole, the Clark County area reported a monthly revenue of nearly $1.2bn, increasing 3.5% year-0ver-year in June 2025.
Washoe County reported revenue growth of 4.7% from the prior year period to $91.4m for June 2025, primarily driven by the Reno area which accounted for $67.8m and increased 5.6% year-over-year. Sparks was the only area also located in Washoe County that witnessed over $10m in revenue for June 2025, reporting $13.7m for an increase of 1.8% from the prior year period.
Despite Elko County having reported a decrease in gaming revenue of 0.5% from the prior year period to $32.9m, both South Lake Tahoe and Carson Valley increased its gaming revenue in June 2025 by 2.6% and 4.9% year-over-year, respectively, for totals of $19.8m and $11.5m.

The NGCB also reported the state collected over $83.7m in percentage fees throughout June 2025, representing an increase of 20.1% from the collections generated in the prior year period. While gaming win for June 2025 increased year-over-year, revenue for the fiscal year decreased by 0.8% from the prior year period, running from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
For individual gaming types, slot machines produced $899.4m of gaming revenue in June 2025 for a 9.2% increase from the prior year period, while table game revenue fell 6.6% year-over-year to just over $432.9m. Baccarat accounted for over $126.3m of table game revenue in June 2025, as multi-denomination slots was the primary driver of revenue with nearly $680.5m generated throughout the month. The revenue for baccarat still represents a decrease of 8.1% from the prior year period, however, with multi-denomination slot revenue growing by 21.7% year-over-year.
Online sports betting operators reported a win total of nearly $29.9m throughout June 2025, representing an increase of 78.4% from the prior year period. Wagering on the NFL reportedly cost sportsbooks over $1.2m in losses for June 2025, while the MLB managed to generate $21.9m in gaming win for operators.
