VIP Play has appointed John Dermody as its new Chief Transformation & Revenue Officer, where he will now lead the development of the operator’s go-to-market strategy, revenue operations, customer acquisition and transformation initiatives.

Dermody has garnered over 20 years of experience in the gaming and hospitality industries, having previously held leadership positions with Caesars Entertainment, Stride and Las Vegas Sands where he drove commercial innovation across procurement, sales and IT services.

Ottolenghi was recently appointed to the role of CEO as well on June 18, as his experience in the industry notably coincides with Dermody’s, having previously served as Chief Commercial Officer and CIO with Stride and EVP & CIO at Caesars.
VIP Play stated Dermody is also recognized for his experience in sustainably scaling revenue and aligning teams around customer-centric innovation. The operator most recently expanded its US reach to West Virginia in April, as Ottolenghi will be joining Gambling Insider for an exclusive interview in Sports Betting Focus.
