Ryan Abboushi to become MGM Resorts President of Entertainment

MGM Resorts International has appointed Ryan Abboushi to become the operator’s new President of Entertainment, where he will now oversee unified programming and operations strategy to build upon and expand the company’s market position in live entertainment.
“Ryan’s leadership and experience will be instrumental in seamlessly integrating art, sports and immersive content at MGM Resorts,” MGM Resorts Chief Content, Hospitality and Development Officer Ari Kastrati said.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ryan to Las Vegas, as he delivers unforgettable experiences to our guests.”
Abboushi previously spent the last 16 years with Creative Arts Agency (CAA), where he packaged and sold numerous films, television shows and specials, while helping to guide the careers of many well-known storytellers.

In his new role, Abboushi will provide oversight of MGM Resorts’ venue utilization, show bookings, talent management and partner relationships, as well as build scalable, branded entertainment and content experiences that can extend across MGM Resorts destinations.
Abboushi’s effective start date with MGM Resorts is reportedly June 16, having originally begun his career with the William Morris Agency.
