Bill Hornbuckle named National Chair of US Travel Association

MGM Resorts President and CEO William (Bill) Hornbuckle has been appointed the National Chair of the US Travel Association’s Board of Directors.
The non-profit organization represents the US travel industry, looking to increase travel to and within the US, with Hornbuckle now leading the body after a member vote.
His appointment comes ahead of the US hosting the Ryder Cup later this year, the Men’s Soccer World Cup in 2026 and the 2028 Summer Olympics.
The MGM Resorts President and CEO will be taking over the role from President and CEO of Hilton, Chris Nassetta, after his term came to an end.
Geoff Freeman, US Travel Association President and CEO (and former President and CEO of the American Gaming Association), said, “We are grateful for Bill’s leadership and expertise as US Travel pursues a bold agenda of growth and improvements to the traveler experience.
