PrizePicks has released the operator’s responsible gaming report for 2024-2025, including comments from CEO Mike Ybarra on the “remarkable strides” his company has made throughout the past 12 months.
“As we reflect on 2024, PrizePicks has made remarkable strides in setting a new standard for Responsible Gaming (RG) within the Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) industry,” Ybarra said.
“This year, we’ve not only advanced player initiatives within the PrizePicks platform but have also taken meaningful steps to lead the industry toward a safer, more transparent gaming environment.”
The operator highlighted its partnership with Kindbridge Behavioral Health which provides clinical services at no initial cost to PrizePicks’ players and customer-facing employees. The aim of the program is to support problem gaming prevention, treatment and recovery efforts while PrizePicks incurs all initial costs of the support services.
PrizePicks held a responsible gaming survey of its employees that resulted in a near 50% response rate. Key findings from PrizePicks revealed that 88% of respondents believe that responsible gaming is critical to the sustainability of the gaming industry and 82% recognize PrizePicks’ existing culture within the space.
