Missouri casinos earn $134.1m in December revenue
Total represents an 8% decline year-on-year.
December adjusted gross revenue from Missouri’s riverboat casinos was $134.1m, an 8% decline year-on-year.
The Missouri Gaming Commission reported that visitors to riverboat casinos dropped 32% from 1.6 million patrons to 1.1 million.
Revenue for the fiscal year to date was $779m, a 10% annual fall. Previously, November’s revenue was $117.9m, an 18% drop.
Total revenue in the Kansas City Market for December dropped 9% to $46.2m and St. Louis Market was $66.5m.
Revenue for Ameristar SC was $128.7m, a 3% drop from $132.1m; Ameristar KC reported $82.9m, a 14% drop from $96.3m. AGR for River City casino dropped by 19% from $114.5m to $92.2m. AGR for Harrahs KC dropped by 2% from $88.4m to $86.7m.
Mark Twain casino revenue rose 5% to $17.7m in 2020. Century-Caruthersville revenue was $19.6m, a 2% increase.
Casino admission fees were $25.3m, a 32% drop from $36.9m in 2019. State total gaming tax was $163.5m. December’s table win was $18.1m, a 13% drop from $20.8m.
Slot win was $115.8m, an 8% drop from $125.4m recorded the previous year. According to the report, total gaming proceeds to education since inception stand at $6.7bn.
