Konami promotes Lori Olk and Scott Mineo to executive leadership roles
The company also recently entered into an iGaming integration partnership with Ondiss to launch its online slot games in Argentina.
Konami Gaming (Konami) has announced promotions for both Lori Olk and Scott Mineo to executive leadership roles, with Olk set to become SVP of Regulatory Compliance as well as CCO while Mineo will become Konami’s SVP of Finance and Accounting.
“Through their many years of service at Konami Gaming, Lori Olk and Scott Mineo have consistently demonstrated commitment to advancing the company’s effectiveness as (a) top-tier global supplier,” Konami President and CEO Steve Sutherland said.
“This leadership expansion within our executive team helps solidify the foundation for achieving the company’s strategic objectives and enduring industry contributions.”
Olk enters the expanded role with nearly three decades of experience, having reached hundreds of jurisdictions worldwide throughout her career. With a background that includes roles with various top companies, Mineo will bring more than 30 years of experience in finance and accounting to his new position.
On July 22, Ondiss announced the launch of Konami’s online slot games in Argentina on its online casino through an iGaming integration partnership. Konami will look to the partnership for continued expansion into online gaming, having served the slot game industry for over 20 years.
Konami maintains offices in Panamá and Argentina, in addition to its Las Vegas headquarters. With integration through the Ondiss casino platform, Casino City Center Online of Rosario was the first to premiere Konami Gaming online slots in Argentina.
Konami also announced in July that its portfolio of slot games will become available in West Virginia and New Jersey due to an expansion in its existing agreement with Caesars Digital.
Online games such as China Shores, All Aboard and Quick Strike are now live for real-money gaming on Caesars Palace online casino and Caesars sportsbook and casino in these jurisdictions to go along with Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ontario.
