RSports Interactive acquires next-gen DFS platform GameBlazers
The company said it is excited to welcome GameBlazers to the group.
RSports Interactive has acquired a digital technology company called GameBlazers, which has developed a platform that merges collectibles, gaming and fantasy sports into “a single cohesive fan experience through gamification.”
Company CEO and Founder Randy Eccker said RSports is eager to embrace GameBlazers as a member of the corporate family.
He commented, “Clearly, innovation is in GameBlazers’ DNA, having elegantly fused traditional fantasy sports with digital collectible items and video game mechanics to create a true evolution in fantasy sports gaming. GameBlazers’ products are designed to offer fantasy sports players the option to earn rewards by leveling up, opening packs or by buying and selling on the proprietary peer-to-peer marketplace.
