Vikings WR Jordan Addison Arrested At Hard Rock Casino in Florida

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was arrested by Seminole Indian Police at Hard Rock Casino in Florida for trespassing at 3:46 a.m. on Tuesday morning. He was charged with a first-degree misdemeanor trespassing in an occupied structure or conveyance.
The Vikings WR was booked at 7:33 a.m. and released from custody at 2:40 p.m. on a $500 bond, according to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Previous Run-Ins With The Law
Of course, this isn’t Addison’s first run-in with the law since being drafted in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
The 23-year-old was arrested just 18 months ago on suspicion of DUI in Los Angeles before resolving the citation by pleading no contest to a lesser charge. He received a $390 fine and was ordered to complete two online courses. As a result of the incident, Addison was suspended by the NFL for the first three games of the 2025 season for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
He was also booked for speeding and reckless driving as a rookie after being caught going 140 mph in a 55 mph zone by the Minnesota State Patrol. He paid a $686 fine for that incident.
Addison’s Lawyers Are Exploring Viability For False Arrest
The arrest location being at the casino address, 5223 Orient Road, suggests that the trespass may have happened on the casino premises. Details about why he was considered trespassing have not been released to the public.
Whether he was refused entry, told to leave, or got into a dispute is currently unknown and his legal team is already exploring the viability of a claim for false arrest, according to his lawyer.
“On Jordan’s behalf, his legal team has already initiated the investigation, identified witnesses, and we are reviewing the viability of a claim for false arrest,” Addison’s representatives at Younger & Associates said on X. “He looks forward to the legal process and upon full investigation, we are confident Mr. Addison will be exonerated.”

A spokesperson for the Seminole Indian Police, said he did not yet have further details about the circumstances.
Florida Arrest Could Cost Addison $17.5 Million
Through three seasons Addison has caught 175 passes for 2,396 yards and 22 touchdowns. However, he’s never topped the 1,000-yard mark in his career and is coming off of his worst season as a pro.
He finished the 2025 season with career-lows across the board with 42 catches for 610 yards and only three touchdowns.
Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell told reporters that the organization was aware of the arrest and refused to speculate at the team’s season-ending press conference.
“I don’t want to speculate on that in any way shape or form,” O’Connell said. “I do think we have to get as many facts and find out exactly what happened. Speculating at this point would be incredibly premature for me.”
Vikings GM also voiced support for Addison but was non-committal about his future in Minnesota.
Minnesota has until May 1 to exercise Addison’s fifth-year option on his rookie deal.
The fifth-year option is worth $17.5 million guaranteed, according to OverTheCap, 30.6% more than his entirety of his four-year rookie contract.
“He is incredibly intelligent, confident, responsible,” Kwesi Adofo-Mensah said Tuesday. “Then, like all of us, it’s what are you like on those one percent of those days? … Obviously, that’s something we have to consider when you’re talking about long-term ramifications of a contract extension.”
One more off-field misstep might be all it takes for the Vikings to decide a $17.5 million gamble on Addison is no longer worth the risk.
