The restaurant is currently known as ‘Bird Bar', and will open at The Flamingo in Las Vegas.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is expected to open his seventh restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip, currently titled ‘Bird Bar’ according to a person with project knowledge unable to speak publically. Records at the Clark County building show that a permit application with the name was filed with a $3.5m price tag attached.

The ‘Bird Bar’ is set to open at the Flamingo Las Vegas, however no further dates relating to the restaurant’s opening have been given.

The restaurant will come to accompany Ramsay's other six Strip restaurants, including Gordon Ramsay Burger at Planet Hollywood Resort, Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen at Caesars Palace and Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas.

Ramsay is notable for his collaborations with casinos not just in Vegas, but around the country. This month it is expected that Gordon Ramsay Steak at Horseshoe Lake Charles will open to the public in Louisiana. It is also expected that two Ramsay restaurants will open in Reno, Nevada later this year.

The celebrity chef has been a long-time partner of Caesars Entertainment, having opened restaurants at a multitude of the company's casino hotels and other venues. Notable chains under the Ramsay restaurant umbrella include Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen, Gordon Ramsay Steak and Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill. It is currently unknown if the ‘Bird Bar’ will fall under any of these umbrellas, or if it will be designed under a different concept.

The Flamingo is the oldest casino on the Las Vegas Strip, having opened over 75 years ago. It opened its doors in 1946 and is a notable location for its historical association with the origins of the Las Vegas Strip and the evolution of the area over the past several decades.
