The grand opening will include the chance for visitors to win a free round of golf at the first DraftKings location where a PGA Tour Tournament is held.

DraftKings and the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new TPC Scottsdale sportsbook location, with its official public opening taking place today at 10:00 MT. Former Arizona Cardinals Wide Receiver Larry Fitzgerlad placed the first bet.

The sportsbook occupies 13,000 square feet, and is the result of construction that began over a year ago in May 2022. TPC Scottsdale GM and Regional Director of Operations, Brad Williams, was present at its opening, as were PGA Tour VP of Gaming Scott Warfield, DraftKings CCO Jen Aguiar and Former NFL Player-turned-media personality Mike Golic.

The Sportsbook boasts 32 betting kiosks, 3,400 square feet of video walls, six ticket windows and VIP sections of its gaming area. TPC Scottsdale also hosts the WM Phoenix open, making this the first DraftKings Sportsbook to open at a PGA Tour tournament venue.

PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan said, “The DraftKings Sportsbook at TPC Scottsdale promises to be a year-round destination where we look forward to delivering experiences to our fans.”

The Sportsbook also includes a dining room, indoor-outdoor bar and a patio complete with five cabanas, fire pits and lawn games. Executive Chef Matthew O’Harris has created a menu with appetizers, pizzas and other entrees, as well as craft cocktails and local beers.

Jason Robins, DraftKings’ CEO and Co-Founder, said, “We’re thrilled to celebrate the opening of the DraftKings Sportsbook at TPC Scottsdale, a location that showcases the special collaboration between DraftKings and PGA Tour while featuring a number of customer-centric amenities true to the DraftKings brand.”

The sportsbook’s restaurant and patio will be open to sports fans of all ages, but guests entering the wagering lounge must be 21 years of age or over. Those who attend the grand opening today will also be eligible to enter for the chance to win $250 worth of food and beverage and a free round of golf, with 10 winners drawn each hour from 4:00PM to 8:00PM MT.
