The duo will extend its scratch-off games collaboration for another two years.

Scientific Games has extended its partnership with the Ohio Lottery for an additional two years. The amended contract will focus on continuing the previous performance of both state scratch-off games and the SciQ retail point-of-sale technology.

Since forming their collaboration in 2019, Scientific Games and the state lottery have expanded scratch-off access to convenience store chains, including Speedway and Circle K.

To date, the Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership has brought its program to more than 20 lotteries around the world. The program is designed to “optimize the Scratch-Offs products through portfolio management and game design services, data-driven analytics, advanced logistics, licensed brand services, and retail sales and marketing support.”

The program is used by more than 20 lotteries worldwide, including 10 of the Top 20-performing instant game lotteries.

Company President of Americas and Global Instant Products John Schulz took a moment to thank the lottery for its continued collaboration.

He said, “We thank the Ohio Lottery for having the vision to partner with us on instant games to optimize the product portfolio and generate maximum revenues for education.

“Ohio was also one of the first lotteries to launch our breakthrough SCiQ ecosystem at retail, which is the first technology of its kind to help retailers fully manage the lottery category in-store.”

Meanwhile, Scientific Games extended its partnership with Loteria Nacional de Beneficencia de El Salvador, the National Lottery of El Salvador, by winning a competitive public tender earlier this year.
