
Sightline Co-CEO Omer Sattar is now CEO of the payments technology company, while four other executives have also stepped into new roles.
Mike McManus has been named President of Innovation, Tom Sears has moved from COO to Strategic Advisor to the CEO, while Felicia Gassen will now act as Chief Administration Officer in addition to her role as Chief of Staff.
Jonathan Michaels, Sightline’s previous SVP of Strategic Development and Government Affairs, has also pivoted to form Michaels Strategies, an advisory firm, which will take on Sightline as its first client.
Omer Sattar, who has been with Sightline since 2011, and Co-CEO of the company since 2021, will also serve as head of the Payments Innovation division of the company. He commented, “As we envision Sightline’s imminent and promising future, spearheading the industry's innovation emerges as our foremost endeavour.”
Mike McManus, with Sightline since 2022, will be working to expand and augment Sightline’s omnichannel offerings while leading the Customer Innovation division. Sattar said of McManus' role, “Mike is equipped with the requisite skills, experience and vision to actualize our commitment to the industry. Our motto remains clear: Innovate and then innovate some more.”
Tom Sears began working with Sightline in 2009 and will begin his Special Advisor role on September 15. Sattar said of Sears’ time with Sightline, “Tom Sears' dedication and insight have been integral to Sightline's success, he has been our master watch builder and we could not have done this without him.
“His transition to Special Advisor is a reflection of our trust in his wisdom and the value we place on his strategic counsel. Though we'll miss his daily operational leadership, we know that his influence will continue to guide us as we embrace the next decade of innovation.”
