Denver-based Edison Interactive is partnering with Las Vegas’ BettorView to create an interactive video conferencing platform solution known as ‘BettorView Live.’
The companies said the platform is designed to complement in-home enjoyment of live sports by adding statistics and analytics, as well as betting odds, and will allow viewers to create their own watch parties.
BettorView, formerly known as KonekTV, works with several iGaming and food delivery partners, and is in 1,000 venues nationwide. Partners include Hooters, Bowlero, DraftKings and William Hill.
Edison Interactive is the software provider behind “Shark Experience presented by Verizon,” which is available in some 23,000 golf carts in the US, and the Avis Budget Group’s Travel Assistant.
“Our joint venture with Edison Interactive allows us to bring BettorView Live as a winning solution for sports leagues, teams, fans and sportsbook operators,” Seth Schorr, co-founder of BettorView, said in a statement. “BettorView Live and our rebrand from KonekTV to BettorView reinforce our longstanding commitment to innovating sports engagement and optimizing how sports betting complements this engagement.”
Jeremy Ostermiller, CEO and co-founder of Edison Interactive, said his company is “excited” to partner with BettorView. “Both companies have a wealth of experience and knowledge in addition to delivering forward-thinking technology solutions in the sports industry. I have no doubt that together, we have created a solution that is instrumental for the future of sports.”
