A partnership between the consultant firm and the tech company will provide live-betting video recognition technology.

SCCG Management has begun a strategic partnership with Snapscreen, the creator of live-betting technology, SnapOdds. The video recognition technology uses a player’s mobile phone camera while watching live events in a way that has the software likened to, ‘Shazam for sports betting.’

Thomas Willomitzer, Founder and CEO of Snapscreen, commented, “We are delighted to partner with SCCG Management to bring SnapOdds to new audiences. When sports fans use SnapOdds technology, they can't believe how easy and exciting it is to go from watching a game on TV or streaming to betting on it.

“With SCCG's extensive network and undoubted expertise in the industry, we see a great potential for collaborations within their ecosystem and beyond.”

Snapscreen, based in both New York and Austria, will take advantage of SCCG’s expansive knowledge and network within the gaming industry. The in-game betting technology can be used in conjunction not only with broadcast sports, but also with social media, sports media and sports betting operators’ platforms.

Operators will have the chance to involve their players with bets in real-time – in ‘just a snap’ – furthering participation on their platforms. The user experience of SnapOdds aims to optimize how fans interact with the sports they watch, by giving bettors odds, convenience and value during the games.

The front-end technology can be embedded by operators ‘within a day’, according to Snapscreen, with a view to increasing both player acquisition and retention.

SCCG Management Founder and CEO Stephen Crystal said, “The collaboration with Snapscreen represents a pioneering moment in the sports betting industry.

"By aligning our expertise with their state-of-the-art SnapOdds technology, we are poised to reshape the landscape of live sports betting, delivering an unprecedented, intuitive experience to fans globally.”
