The company will continue to serve as an authorized gaming operator for the WTA.

FanDuel and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) have renewed their multi-year agreement. The company will continue to represent the WTA as an authorized gaming operator for North, South and Central America’s Hologic WTA Tour.

Under the terms of the amended deal, both organizations will continue to support the evolution and growth of women’s sports. Throughout the partnership, FanDuel has featured content and videos across its digital platforms that highlight women’s tennis.

The WTA said FanDuel will retain access to official scoring data via its Stats Perform, as well as to company trademarks.

WTA President Micky Lawler explained the components of the contract renewal in greater detail by saying, “Our extension with FanDuel represents the WTA’s ongoing commitment to innovation.

“As we continue to diversify how fans consume and engage with sports, we’re pleased to have a gaming operator who not only shares our vision to strengthen the exposure of women’s tennis but who is dedicated to developing responsible gambling standards and practices that allow fans to do so in a fun and safe way.”

FanDuel VP of Strategic Partnerships Clifton Ma described the collaboration as a mutual effort that aims to empower women and bring new fans to the sport.

He commented, “This partnership has given us the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with the WTA to develop new, exciting products that have increased engagement and excitement for women’s tennis.

“FanDuel is committed to supporting women in sports and this partnership has been a key pillar of that commitment as we’ve worked with the WTA to celebrate key women’s initiatives through unique storytelling opportunities.”

FanDuel said it will also “continue to promote safe and responsible gaming and the availability of prevention, treatment and recovery resources."
