Residents in Puerto Rico will now have access to both the app and Caesars Rewards from anywhere on the island.

Caesars Entertainment’s mobile sports betting app is now accepting wagers in Puerto Rico. Residents of Puerto Rico can now download the Caesars Sportsbook Puerto Rico app, as well as visit Caesars Sportsbook at Casino Metro in San Juan, which opened in December.

The launch comes exactly a month after US iGaming market leader BetMGM launched in Puerto Rico in June, becoming the first mobile sports betting app to do so.

Caesars’ app will give Puerto Rico’s sports bettors deposit options, fast payouts and daily boosts and promotions along with various markets including in-play, real-time play-by-play, cross-sport and same-game parlay options.

Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital, said, “The launch of our mobile sports wagering platform is an excellent complement to the experience we’ve provided customers at MetroBets with Caesars Sportsbook at Casino Metro.”

MetroBets with Caesars Sportsbook offers guests three betting windows, 14 self-service betting kiosks, over 25 LED TVs, and several odds boards. Caesars will also accept cash deposits and facilitate withdrawals from within MetroBets for mobile accounts of Caesars Sportsbook Puerto Rico users.

Ismael Vega, General Manager of Casino Metro, said, “The launch of this app brings our customers MetroBets with Caesars Sportsbook in the palm of their hands. The user-friendly app allows customers to bet responsibly from any corner of the island.”

New players who sign up and make a first bet of $50 or over on the app will receive a $50 Bonus Bet Token, whether they win or lose. Bettors in Puerto Rico will also benefit from the Caesars Rewards loyalty program for the first time as part of the experience using the app.
