The series had $6.4m in guarantees, but produced $7.1m in final prize pools.

The Mini Online Super Series at Americas Cardroom (ACR), a small-stakes online tournament, blew past its $6.4m in guarantees with $7.1m in final prize pools.

Chris Moneymaker, ACR Team Pro, said, “Our Mini Online Super Series or ‘MOSS' is the low buy-in tourney series that packs a punch. And it’s just part of our effort to create great variety this year on our tourney schedule for lower and mid-stakes players.”

One of the MOSS highlights was the first “Mystery Bounty” tournament, with a $22 buy-in. The $500,000 guaranteed event had a $610,120 prize pool thanks to 30,506 Day 1 entries.

The top Mystery Bounty recipient won a $50,300 payout.

These tournaments are now going to be regularly featured on the ACR schedule.

Another highlight was Event #70, a $250,000 GTD PKO multi-flight with a $55 buy-in and a $361k prize pool.

Players in that event enjoyed an extra overlay due to some key tourneys that fell short of their posted guarantees, like the $1m Main Event (with a $109 buy-in and a $153,000 overlay) and the Dream Tourney, which lets micro-stakes players fight for a piece of $100,000 for a buy-in of $2.50.

That event had a $43,000 overlay.
