PokerGo operates tournaments such as the: Super High Roller Bowl, Poker Masters, US Poker Open and more.

Gala Games and PokerGo have announced the development of PokerGo Play, which is set for release later this year and the beta of which will be available to play in June.

PokerGo is a poker content company and Gala Games is a gaming platform that allows players to earn cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) through gameplay.

PokerGo Play integrates Web3 elements on a poker platform. Through gameplay and platform functionality, users can enhance and upgrade their in-game avatar in addition to redeeming exclusive real-world prizes.

Taiwanese-American professional poker player and television host/commentator Maria Ho has signed a deal to be the first PokerGo Play ambassador and will help with the game's launch; Ho will also be a playable avatar in the game, along with other celebrity avatars.

PokerGo Genesis NFT holders will receive beneficial status within the game, and the two sides plan to host special events inside the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas.

Chief Revenue Officer of PokerGo, Richard Blankenship, said, "PokerGo's extensive experience in poker entertainment combined with the cutting-edge Web3 development at Gala Games is a perfect marriage. Together, we have been able to build a superior social poker game that players everywhere will love."

Eric Schiermeyer, Founder of Gala Games, commented, "Partnering with PokerGo, we were able to develop a social poker game that is unlike anything available today and players will soon realize the heightened entertainment that comes with playing poker in an immersive Web3 environment."
