The company expects a Q3 2023 release date.

Elys Game Technology has announced the upcoming release of its online sportsbook platform. The company said it anticipates that the platform will be available in both US and Canadian markets by the third quarter of this year.

Elys said it has, “made significant progress on strategy and preparations for its North American online channel with planned deployments in Canada and certain US markets.”

Once launched, US and Canadian players can expect mobile apps to be available for download on both iOS and Android devices.

Group Executive Chairman Michele Ciavarella discussed how recent and favorable legislation for North American sports betting has paved the way for this upcoming release.

Ciavarella commented, “Since the repeal of the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act in 2018 we have seen the US market begin to take shape with many years of growth and development potentially ahead.

“The liberalization of the US market has also led to greater market opportunities with legislative changes in Canada as well. Elys has taken this early-stage opportunity to analyze market behavior and to better understand what North American sports bettors want, rather than race to gain market share in uncharted spaces.”

Ciavarella went on to explain the company’s approach to new product development and deployment by saying, “We have always believed that this patient, methodical approach, and years of data analysis would result in Elys offering a highly intuitive sportsbook and iGaming product line-up.

“Our previously announced partnerships in both online and retail deployments in North America have been instrumental in developing our new mobile product so that Elys could offer the largest range of events combined with the most competitive odds and player tools available in the US to rival top competitors currently in the North American space.”

Elys is an interactive gaming and sports betting technology company. It offers gaming products and services, such as sports betting, esports, virtual sports, online casino, poker, bingo, interactive games and slots.

The company operates in multiple countries worldwide and currently has operations in six US states.
