GeoComply appoints Vadim Jelezniakov as CTO

Jelezniakov will head up product and service development for the geolocation supplier.

GeoComply has named Vadim Jelezniakov as its new Chief Technology Officer. Jelezniakov previously served as the Director of Engineering at Meta.

Responsibilities in his new role include overseeing product and service development, as well as managing the company’s technology strategy. As CTO, Jelezniakov will have a direct role in GeoComply’s developmental plans going forward.

Jelezniakov has served as a leader in product development and technology innovation for nearly two decades and has worked for Google, Amazon and the New York Times.

Company Co-Founder and CEO Anna Sainsbury commented: "We are thrilled to have Vadim join our team. With his impressive track record of innovation and leadership in the technology industry.

“I am very confident that he will help us continue to grow and stay ahead of the competition." 

GeoComply Solutions is globally known for its Ground Truth Geolocation data platform, which services millions of devices around the world through its proprietary system.

Jelezniakov said: "I am so excited to join GeoComply and work with such a talented and dedicated team.

“My goal is to help drive innovation and growth in new and existing market verticals by leveraging new technologies and developing products and services that meet the evolving needs of our customers. This truly is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to scale a market-leading company." 

Also this week, GeComply agreed to finance a two-year research project for the International Center for Responsible Gaming (ICRG).

Through the grant, the ICRG will study self-exclusion programs used by both land-based and online gambling operators and their effectiveness long-term.
