The BetMGM Poker Championship will return to Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas for a second year, as part of a larger tournament in Aria’s poker room. The tournament will begin with a Mystery Bounty event on June 8, and run from June 9 -13, with the final table livestreamed by PokerGo Studio.
The sports betting and iGaming operator has set a $3,500 buy-in no limit for its Hold‘em tournament, carrying a $2m prize money guarantee. At least 100 qualifiers from BetMGM Poker markets in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ontario, Canada will play in the event. Online qualifying rounds begin Monday May 1.
Players who qualify online will win packages including a $3,500 buy-in for the BetMGM Poker Championship and an $800 buy-in for the Mystery Bounty event, as well as covered travel expenses with a six-night stay at the resort from June 7-13th.
