BetMGM to host second poker championship at Aria Las Vegas
The tournament will run from June 9 – June 13 as part of the 2023 Aria Poker Classic, with a guarantee of $2m.
The BetMGM Poker Championship will return to Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas for a second year, as part of a larger tournament in Aria’s poker room. The tournament will begin with a Mystery Bounty event on June 8, and run from June 9 -13, with the final table livestreamed by PokerGo Studio.
The sports betting and iGaming operator has set a $3,500 buy-in no limit for its Hold‘em tournament, carrying a $2m prize money guarantee. At least 100 qualifiers from BetMGM Poker markets in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ontario, Canada will play in the event. Online qualifying rounds begin Monday May 1.
Players who qualify online will win packages including a $3,500 buy-in for the BetMGM Poker Championship and an $800 buy-in for the Mystery Bounty event, as well as covered travel expenses with a six-night stay at the resort from June 7-13th.

BetMGM continues to provide resources to encourage responsible gaming among its poker players, including GameSense. The program was developed and licensed to MGM Resorts by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. GameSense integrates with BetMGM’s mobile and desktop platforms for direct customer access.
