Continent 8 Technologies has launched additional site resilience service options throughout North America as part of its strategic growth plan. Customers in Iowa, Illinois, Kansas and Louisiana, as well as in the US territory of Puerto Rico can access the added sites.
Continent 8 has held its digital presence in the US for several years. The company first launched services in Iowa in 2019, with Kansas following in 2020 and Louisiana in 2021.
Since the initial launches, the company has provided managed service offerings across those state markets and has fostered “in-state connectivity and infrastructure.”
The site in Puerto Rico initially debuted in 2022.
With the latest launch, all five markets can now access disaster recovery and secondary solutions through the additional sites. The release also allows Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey (Atlantic City) and Pennsylvania access to Continent 8’s existing multi-site in-state infrastructure capability.
Company Chief Product Officer Justin Cosnett said: “Data center resilience is an important consideration for infrastructure planning. We also know that regulators across various states want to see licensed operators deliver resilient and reliable services to customers and partners.”
Currently, the company’s sites link its global private network that includes 25 states in the US, as well as more than 90 territories on four continents.
Cosnett went on to explain the advantages of offering clients access to disaster recovery and secondary backup options through additional domains.
He concluded by saying: “We have built our offering so that operators and suppliers to the industry can use our diverse MPLS-connected backbone to create disaster recovery, backup or even active-active capabilities to guarantee availability.
“Multi-site in-state infrastructure also allows Continent 8 to offer its own inclusive off-site backup service via our regulated Public iGaming Cloud solution. Ultimately, we’re providing the very best infrastructure solutions so that customers can concentrate on what they do best – focus on the success of their business.”
