Colorado sports betting handle grows 49% in June

Colorado’s June sports betting handle reached $38m, a 49% increase from May.
June marked the second month of legalized sports wagering in the Rocky Mountain State.
Sports betting revenue totaled $2.2m for a 9.1 win percentage.
Table tennis dominated the month, earning 24% of all online and retail wagers.
Soccer, golf, and mixed martial arts were the next popular sports to wager on.
“The June figures are representative of the business conducted by six internet operators, and one retail sportsbook location operating during the month,” the Colorado Department of Revenue said in a statement.
“Additional internet operators and retail locations have recently entered the market, and the Division anticipates seeing another increase in total wagers in the coming months as additional offerings are made available to the Colorado bettor, and major sports leagues resume play.”
