The US-based company has released the platform exclusively through Sky Betting & Gaming.

Las Vegas-based cross-platform games and entertainment company, Light & Wonder, has launched its Wonder 500 portfolio exclusive in the UK through Sky Betting & Gaming.

The platform was created based on specific operator feedback and gives players in the region access to a variety of OpenGaming titles.

Company VP of Game Development Rob Procter said that the evolving iGaming market in the UK played a key role in the recent launch.

He commented: “With an ever-changing UK iGaming landscape, operators are facing a different environment that is packed with shifting player dynamics, new regulatory focuses, and fresh challenges.

“At Light & Wonder, we continually innovate our iGaming content and products to engage players, whilst keeping responsible gaming at heart.”

Sky Betting & Gaming Head of Content Eamon Beardsley spoke about the duo’s ongoing working relationship and noted the company’s excitement regarding the Wonder 500 release.

He said: “Having worked with Light & Wonder for many years, we have seen how they create products with the player at the front and center of the development process and that fit with our strategy for the UK market.

“Wonder 500 is a fantastic addition to Light & Wonder’s in-house portfolio of games and we can’t wait to put the product in front of our audience. We have a major promotional campaign in place to support our exclusive launch and are fully behind the series believing that it offers players a superb gaming experience.”

Light & Wonder is formerly known as Scientific Games Corporation and employs more than 6,000 team members on six continents. The company says it remains focused on developing quality games for players and maintaining a high level of integrity.
