The company plans to consolidate the assets and increase future revenue.

Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has concluded a previously announced purchasing deal with Catena Media to acquire several domains and casino affiliate websites, including Askgamblers.com, Johnslots.com and Newcasinos.com. The agreement is the next step in the company’s plans to consolidate these assets.

The company said in an official statement: “GiG Media is eagerly anticipating the operational and commercial opportunities of the well-regarded affiliate website AskGamblers, now that the transaction has closed.

“Management is focused on elevating the performance of this asset and has a clear strategy in place to implement GiG Media's innovative technical SEO and marketing technology, along with AskGamblers' extensive knowledge.”

GiG added that it plans to aim its focus at utilizing the AskGamblers domain as part of a strategy to boost both the company’s EBITDA and overall revenue going forward.

Company CEO Richard Brown emphasized the opportunity for continuing growth now that the purchase agreement is complete.

He said: "We are thrilled to add another top casino affiliate site to our portfolio, and believe it holds immense growth potential.

“The acquisition also broadens our geographical footprint and increases revenue diversity both geographically and client wise, reducing the overall operational risk."

Gaming Innovation Group is based in Malta and was founded in 2012. The iGaming technology company offers its operators services, solutions and products, as well as sportsbooks and various media.

GiG said that it remains committed to aiding its operators in reaching “sustainable growth and profitability.” The group is listed on both the Oslo Stock Exchange under the GIG ticker symbol GIG and on Nasdaq Stockholm under GIGSEK.
