Video exclusive: G2E event director and AGA exec discuss G2E cancellation

G2E will not take place in its physical format, with virtual alternatives now being planned.

With the American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions confirming the Global Gaming Expo 2020 (G2E) has been cancelled, Gambling Insider caught up with the key executives involved in the decision.

Speaking exclusively in a video interview, G2E event director, Korbi Carrison, and American Gaming Association SVP for industry relations, Allie Barth, discussed the decision-making process behind calling the event off in its physical format.

Watch the video below to hear Barth outline the virtual alternatives the event is considering, while Carrison talks through what the US gaming trade show calendar will look like in the months to come.
