Tipico launches sportsbook in Iowa

The operator is offering Iowans a variety of sign-up promotions via its multi-state app.

Tipico USA has a launched in Iowa, having been granted approval by the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission. It is now live and can accept sports wagers in the Hawkeye State.

This is the fourth state that the operator has launched in, following entry into New Jersey.

To celebrate this latest expansion and entry into the mid-west region of the US, Tipico is offering Iowan bettors a variety of sign-up promotions and cash offers, including a $250 deposit match. It will also offer an array of free bets which are available on its app.

Tipico USA CEO Adrian Vella commented: “We are thrilled to grow our footprint and give Iowa customers access to our propriety product and competitive offering. Iowa betters will be able to use a very simple product with fast deposits and withdrawals and cutting-edge functionality in live betting.

“It also offers same-game parlays with wide coverage on player props, and bettors can cash out anytime – including partial cash-out capabilities. To top it off, Tipico's functionality is run from within the US with customer service based in New Jersey."

Developed on proprietary end-to-end technology in December 2020, the multi-state Tipico sportsbook mobile app offers a unified log-in experience. Iowa-based sports fans and bettors can download the app via the Apple and Google Play stores to begin betting on their favorite teams.

Tipico has been busy in the US market recently, launching a partnership with Gannett, a media company that gave the sportsbook exposure across the USA Today Sports Media Network. It also became the official Sports Betting Partner of the MLS club Columbus Crew having entered Ohio on January 1, 2023.
