It will provide Historical Horse Racing games to Wyoming’s only private horseracing track.

Exacta Systems, a game provider to the Historical Horse Racing (HHR) industry, has struck a new deal with Wyoming Downs, an operator of 14 off-track wagering facilities. It will provide the horseracing operator with an installed system of its game offerings.

Wyoming Downs owns and operates live horseracing and simulcast off-track facilities in the Cowboy State. It is the largest and only privately owned racetrack in Wyoming.

Exacta VP of Sales Jeff Clifford commented: “Exacta Systems has been a driving force behind the HHR industry for over seven years now, and we are proud to continue our growth with such a well-respected partner like Wyoming Downs.”

Wyoming Downs COO Rick Cook reflected Clifford’s enthusiasm about the new partnership. He commented: “Exacta excels in its ability to offer gaming operators the opportunity to connect to the industry's leading third-party game manufacturers.

"With game titles from leading manufacturers like IGT, AGS, Incredible Technologies and Gaming Arts, we are excited to have Exacta as our HHR partner."

Exacta employs technology intended to drive growth in HHR. Exacta Connect's system architecture supports multiple game vendors and offers virtually unlimited math modeling capabilities on a single system.

It supports HHR operations in Virginia, Kentucky, Wyoming and New Hampshire.

The company was bought by Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) for $250m in December 2022, which acquired all of its outstanding equity interests. The transaction will be funded with cash on hand and through CDI’s existing credit facility and is still subject to regulatory approval. The transaction is expected to close this year.
