Novomatic Digital Gaming and Entertainment division, Greentube, has signed a joint-venture deal with Flamingocatz. Under the terms of the partnership, the duo will release new content tailored for the North American gaming market.
As part of the agreement, Greentube holds 40% stake in Flamingocatz, a newly founded company that specializes in using mathematics to develop slot titles for a North American iGaming audience.
Greentube CFO and CGO Michael Bauer said: “We remain committed to growing our presence in North America and through this joint venture with Flamingocatz, we will further strengthen our capabilities, working with a talented and very experienced team who sits on a lot of local knowledge.
“Having a laser focus on what local players desire is paramount to us and this partnership will help us execute our growth strategy in the US and Canada.”
Flamingocatz Co-Founder Job Spiero said the company looks forward to collaborating with Greentube and releasing products for North American players.
He commented: "We are very excited to work on this new studio together with Greentube and we could not have hoped for a better partner to go into the Americas.
“With Greentube's vast experience in distribution, placement, and marketing of games and Flamingocatz's ‘outside of the box’ way of creating games, we have very high hopes for this partnership."
Greentube said several iGaming titles are currently in development and anticipates a launch date during 2023.
This is the latest in series of moves as Greentube expands its North American footprint. The company recently launched in the Canadian province of Ontario through a partnership with Entain, after receiving approval for a supplier license by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
The Ontario launch is the latest in a series of moves that have propelled Greentube’s presence throughout Canada. The supplier also operates in British Columbia, Quebec, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
