Resorts World Hudson Valley (RWHV) in New York is scheduled to open December 28 at 10AM. Guests will have access to the Manhattan destination’s 50,000 square feet of gaming and hospitality space, along with 1,200 slot machines and electronic table games.
The casino resort will also feature its Resorts World Bet Sports Bar.
Genting Group, which operates RWHV, was founded in 1965. Its destinations around the world include those in Las Vegas, Bimini, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines and in the UK.
Genting Americas East President Robert DeSalvio described the casino as a collaborative effort to benefit the community and provide guests with quality entertainment.
He said: "Resorts World Hudson Valley represents a shared vision that we, along with our partners in Orange County, had to create an entertainment destination that will attract hundreds of thousands of guests and visitors, while providing tremendous benefits to the local, regional and statewide community.”
DeSalvio went on to add that the timing of the opening offers an opportunity for guests to enjoy the holiday season.
He concluded by saying: "We are delighted to open our doors this holiday season and welcome everyone to Resorts World Hudson Valley!"
RWHV is the third New York location Genting has opened, along with Resorts World Catskills in Monticello and Resorts World New York City in Queens. The company has invested more than $1.2bn in its three properties, with $50m of that invested in RWHV.
New York has outperformed other states since launching legal digital sports betting at the beginning of the year. Since the launch, more than 1.2 million betting accounts have been created.
