This tournament will run from December 3-20 and offers $24m in guaranteed prize pools.

Americas Cardroom (ACR), an online poker network, has announced it be hosting the Winter Online Super Series (OSS), running from December 3-20. The Series will feature 148 events and $24m in guaranteed prize pools.

The OSS promises card game types for all player preferences, with Texas Hold’em, Omaha Hold’em (PLO), PLO8 and Limit Omaha formats. ACR has listened to customer feedback and will be introducing 5-Card PLO and 5-Card PLO8 for the first time in the tournament’s history.

ACR Team Pro Chris Moneymaker commented: “This is a fully packed schedule that really has something for everyone, whether you like playing Texas Hold’em or PLO. I’m super excited to kick off the holiday season with this Series and really get stuck into the action.”

There are three main events that will occur throughout the fortnight in which the OSS is played. The first takes place on Days 1 and 2 (December 3-5) of the tournament, with a $630 buy-in and $1m guaranteed payout for the winners.

The second main event will be played out from December 11-18 and will feature a $215 buy-in for a guaranteed $1m payout. The final main event has the largest entrance fee ($2,650) but also offers the largest payout of $2m.

ACR became part of the Winning Poker Network in 2011, joining a host of other trusted online poker rooms. The Americana-themed company accepts players from both the US market and the rest of the world. It is reputed among poker players for its rapid payment processing and cashout reliability.

The company recently became the official sponsor of the popular Tournament Poker Edge (TPE) podcast. Alongside its main weekly podcast, TPE also offers videos and a community forum to help improve player performance.
