Operator Bet99 has recruited Major League Soccer star Sebastian Giovinco to join its ranks. Giovinco will represent Bet99 as its official brand ambassador.

The two will work in tandem to increase brand awareness on social media platforms like Instagram. Giovinco will kick off the launch via a series of celebratory fan giveaways on Instagram. Soccer fans can win merchandise and signed soccer balls during the online event.

Giovinco will appear live on Instagram with Bet99, offering predictions and picks for this year’s World Cup games. He will also join fans at The Firkin for the Bet99 Soccer House watch party on November 27.

Bet99 CEO Jared Beber said the company is pleased to have Giovinco representing the company and described his addition as a “game changer.”

Beber commented: "We're thrilled to have drafted Sebastian to the Bet99 team. His stature and record in the Canadian and international soccer community is unparalleled, and the insights and excitement that he'll bring to Team Canada, our players and our platform is a game-changer."

Giovinco noted the “perfect timing” of joining the company and said joining a Canadian company is an “incredible honor.”

He said: "Partnering with Bet99 is a great opportunity and this is perfect timing. As the World Cup heats up and Canada makes a run for the first time in 36 years, I'm really excited to join a truly Canadian online sports betting company in rooting for the team.

“And joining this top-notch roster of Bet99 ambassadors is an incredible honor."
