Jackpocket has reported an all-time high in user activity and sales on its lottery courier app, in the wake of the November 7, 2022 Powerball drawing. Lottery players who used the Jackpocket app accounted for 2% of national ticket sales between August 6 and November 7 for the $2.04bn jackpot.

The company reported that 11% of all Powerball tickets were sold in the states where Jackpocket operates. The highest sales per state were in New York, Arkansas, Texas and in New Jersey.

Jackpocket Co-Founder and CEO Peter Sullivan said the company is pleased with its recent player engagement and with the number of winners through the app. According to its latest figures, Jackpocket user raked in more than $14m in Powerball winnings during the jackpot’s run.

He commented: "With the $2.04bn Powerball drawing on November 7, Jackpocket had its best day ever with its highest number of ticket orders and daily active users.

"Jackpocket was founded on the idea that the lottery should be accessible and convenient to play, and we were extremely proud to help lottery players participate in the history-making Powerball run. Not to mention, we're thrilled for the nearly 500,000 Jackpocket users who won a Powerball prize from the convenience of their phone."

Jackpocket launched its app in 2013. Since then, players have walked away with more than $200m in lottery prizes.

The company recently launched its lottery app in New Jersey, joining nine other states that already have the feature. The app is currently available in Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Texas and Washington DC.
