The online operator was one of the first to go live during the province’s April market launch.

Operator 888casino will be delivering the full suite of 1X2 Network games to Ontario. It will supplement this iGaming content offering with products from its sister brand Iron Dog Studio.

New iGaming titles that 888casino will be releasing in the Canadian province include Wolf Strike, Megaways, Jack, Pirate Kingdom Megaways and 1 Million Megaways.

The 1X2 Network suite of games received licensing approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario in May of this year. 888casino was one of the first operators to go live on a locally regulated basis in Ontario when the province launched its new online gaming market in April.

Ontario is the most liberal of the Canadian provinces when it comes to gaming, having been the first to regulate online gaming and license international operators. Its very first quarterly report released by iGaming Ontario showed a revenue of $162m between April 4 – June 30.

888casino VP of B2C Casino Tayla Benyamini commented: “Partnering with leading games suppliers such as 1X2 Network and Iron Dog Studio is a key part of our product and content leadership strategy.

“This will enhance our offer allowing us to continue providing unique and exciting experiences to our players in Ontario. We look forward to working with the 1X2 Network team, and introducing its portfolio to our players, over the coming months.”

The 1X2 Network team reciprocated this enthusiasm toward the partnership. The company’s Account Management and Marketing Director Rory Kimber commented: “We are committed to expanding our footprint in key newly regulated markets and to working with regulators to ensure our games are compliant, while providing a best-in-class, localized gaming experience.

“There is so much potential in this market, and it is very exciting that our games are reaching a new audience in Ontario, thanks to our partnership with 888casino.”
