The offer follows a similar move from DraftKings in the same state

Operator bet365 is offering $100 in free bets for customers who sign up early in the US state of Ohio.

The operator noted that new players can expect Same Game Parlay, Cash Out and Edit Bet features, live streaming on more than 50,000 events, as well as an extensive range of pre and Live In Game props on all major sporting events. The offers will cover a wide range of sports, including NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL.

A bet365 Spokesperson commented “Ahead of our launch on January 1st, bet365 is pleased to provide this early sign-up offer for sports fans across Ohio. Ohio has such a rich sporting history, and bet365 is proud to be a part of it.

“Whether you’re a Guard’ or a Red, follow the Cavs or the Bengals, or if the Blue Jackets are your team, we at bet365 will have an offer, a promotion and a live stream ready for you in 2023!”

The $100 in free bets is available to customers residing in the state of Ohio that sign up between November 2 and December 31 2022, with offers made available to eligible customers from January 1 2023.

“Once we are fully up and running on January 1st, new customers in Ohio will also be able to claim our New Customer Offer,” said bet365. “This fantastic offer will give you an additional $200 in Bet Credits once you deposit $10 and wager just $1 of your own funds.”

The offer follows a similar move from DraftKings, with the operator last month saying it will offer $200 in free bets to Ohio-based customers who sign up before sports betting goes live in the state on 1 January 2023.
