New York Knicks and New York Rangers fans will receive alternative broadcasts presented by MSG Networks in partnership with DraftKings.
The programs will air alongside traditional game telecasts on MSG. MSG Networks' first "BetCast" will air on Wednesday, November 2 at 7:30PM EST.
The program will have a sports betting focus, broadcasting Knicks and Rangers games this season. MSG Networks is planning to broadcast 12 BetCasts between the Knicks and Rangers.
When BetCast unveils the simulcast of the Rangers game, it will mark the first time the company has produced a sports betting-focused simulcast of an NHL game.
BetCast was first revealed during five Knicks games in the 2021-22 season.
Knicks telecasts will feature a rotating mix of sports betting analysts and on-air talent from the network’s roster of shows, including Alex Monaco, Keiana Martin, Sean Little, Erik Coleman, Jeff Johnson, Harrison Sanford, Kazeem Famuyide and eight-year NBA veteran John Henson.
The first hockey BetCast will air on Monday, December 5th at 7:00PM EST for the Rangers’ game against St. Louis. Rangers reporter Michelle Gingras and former Rangers and Devils center Scott Gomez will provide sports betting analysis during the Rangers game.
DraftKings will provide odds into the BetCasts along with specific bets and parlays on the air that will be available exclusively for viewers within the DraftKings Sportsbook app.
BetCast coverage will also be available to view on MSG GO, the network’s live streaming and video-on-demand platform.
In New York, where MSG Networks are based, total sports betting revenue through August came to $783m, which is the most gaming revenue generated by any one state.
