Oak View Group (OVG) has signed a deal with ParkMobile, a digital payment solutions provider, to offer its guests additional options when paying to park at live events. The agreement will give OVG visitors access to pay digitally when attending affiliated casinos, stadiums, arenas, performing arts centers, convention centers and fairgrounds nationwide.
Under the terms of the deal, ParkMobile will represent OVG as its official parking payments partner. This will allow guests to reserve parking spots in advance at more than 150 OVG venues.
Customers can view all available parking spaces at their venue of choice on a full list of upcoming events accessible through the ParkMobile app. Once a space is reserved, visitors can choose whether to redeem their spot using a mobile or printed pass.
The ParkMobile app is available to download for iPhone and Android users.
ParkMobile VP of Sales and Partnerships Andy Harman stressed the importance of making sure visitors have quick and easy access to parking.
He commented: "This partnership will leverage the expertise of our two innovative companies to deliver a streamlined arrival experience at OVG venues nationwide.”
The deal has been a long time coming, according to OVG360 VP of Parking & Mobility Joe Leung.
He commented: "Our partnership with ParkMobile has been in the works for over two years now. We're thrilled to officially announce ParkMobile as a parking payments partner and start working with them at our venues.
"We're looking forward to enhancing our overall guest experience by allowing fans to make parking reservations in advance of events and, in some cases, pay digitally onsite. This will eliminate the stress of event parking and create operational efficiencies at our venues."
Several cities around the country that are home to OVG’s venues have already implemented the ParkMobile digital parking payment option.
