Both share an interest in reaching new esports fans throughout the region.

Real Luck Group and its Luckbox subsidiary have entered a sponsorship agreement with Thunder Awaken, Peru’s esports team. The partnership builds on a strategic company initiative for ongoing Latin American expansion and has the potential to yield “significant marketing benefits.”

Thunder Awaken is known throughout Peru as the nation’s largest professional team and is scheduled to compete in Dota 2 at The International 11. More than 16 million people make up the team’s growing fan base.

Latin America is a key market for Real Luck, due to a growing interest in sports betting and demand from esports aficionados. Both Real Luck and Thunder Awaken bring a mutual goal to the table that involves reaching and engaging Latin America’s community of fans.

Real Luck Group Director of Marketing, Daniel Sanders, said: "Peru is a strategically important market for us. Not only given the huge interest in esports, but also for expanding our online casino and sportsbook offerings to bettors in this vibrant market.

“This new initiative also gives the Luckbox brand exposure to 16 million Thunder Awaken fans via the Dota 2 International 11 competition. We look forward to working with local regulators and providing additional details regarding our LatAm growth strategy over the coming months."

Real Luck Group is the parent company of Luckbox, which supplies licensed esports betting, sports betting and casino games for desktop and mobile devices. Luckbox is listed on the Toronto Venture Exchange.

The company continues to report substantial growth and success since launching its online casino at the end of last year.
