In celebration of the launch, Jackpocket is offering Idahoans their first digital lottery ticket for free.

Idahoans can now order lottery tickets from their phone on the newly launched Jackpocket app, after the Powerball and Mega Millions surged to a combined weekly jackpot of $900m. This app provides bettors with a secure, convenient way to order official state lottery tickets, as well as a new way to play.

Lottery players in Idaho can place ticket orders for lottery games, including Lotto America, Powerball, Mega Millions, Lucky for Life, Idaho Cash, Pick 3, and Pick 4 on the app. The platform gives them an online image of their ticket, the ability to check lottery results, and a collection point to receive prizes worth up to $599.

If players win more than $599, then their winning ticket will be transferred directly to them, and they can claim their prize from the Idaho Lottery.

To celebrate the launch of this app, Jackpocket is offering Idahoans their first lottery ticket free of charge on the app. First-time players can receive a $2 lottery ticket by downloading Jackpocket and entering a code at checkout.

Jackpocket founder and CEO Peter Sullivan commented: “Idaho marks the 13th state where Jackpocket is available for lottery play, making 13 a lucky number in our eyes. The Jackpocket team is looking forward to providing Idahoans, both long-time lottery players and new players alike, a digital-forward way to enjoy one of America's favorite entertainment options."

Idaho is now the 13th state that allows lottery play on the Jackpocket app along with New Jersey, Arkansas, Texas, Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon and Washington DC.

To date, lottery bettors have won over $190m in prizes using the Jackpocket app and 20 individual players have won prizes worth $1m or more.
