Players can access quick and convenient betting through a personalized menu.

SB22 has announced its first patent-pending Apple Watch Wagering App, AW22, during this year’s G2E Las Vegas. AW22 is the newest addition to the GLI-33-certified Fi22 Sportsbook Platform.

Bettors will have access to fast wagering options and the ability to track betting results using their Apple Watch with AW22.

The product is certainly an interesting technological specimen, although it immediately raises responsible gambling questions – with the opportunity to bet literally in front of a player's nose at all times.

SB22 COO Vladimir Jovanovic noted the demand for quick betting, wearable technology and the need to place wagers on the go, and said the new Apple Watch app is an 'innovative way to give players convenient options.'

He commented: "SB22's Apple Watch app is the first of its kind in the sports betting industry and showcases the company's commitment to delivering innovative technology that enhances the betting experience.

“The ability to quickly place a bet while on the go, or while watching a game without needing to dive through complex menus on a phone is a game changer."

Citizens Head of Gaming Corporate Finance Chris Lynch said the updated platform has the potential to “revolutionize the way people bet.”

He went on to say: "The user experience with SB22's native iOS platform is among the best in the industry.”

The app can be adapted to simplify the way players choose to place bets. AW22 functions as a supplement to existing sports betting mobile apps and features a concise betting menu, as well as tailored offers based on personalized wagering habits.

SB22 CCO Vik Shrestha spoke about the app’s modernized features: "Having a modern modular platform allows us to build technology that places the user experience at the forefront.

“AW22 offers a completely new way to place bets and allows our operator clients the ability to provide an innovative product eco-system that is highly differentiated.”
