PrizePicks announces new COO and additional executive hires

Former WebMD and Oracle executive Chris Hackney announced as new COO.

PrizePicks, the independent daily fantasy sports operator, has announced a new Chief Operating Officer (COO) and made two additional executive hires to prepare for the fall of 2022.

Chris Hackney, the former WebMD and Oracle executive has been named COO of PrizePicks.

Joining Hackney is Chip Singh as PrizePicks Executive Creative Director while Amy Perrault was named the company's SVP of Human Operations.

PrizePicks CEO Adam Wexler said: "The addition of these three seasoned executives reflects our direction as a company as we continue to diversify our platform, expand our brand equity and increase our headcount.

"The fact that they're joining us at one of the most exciting times of our year just enhances the momentum."

Hackney has over 25 years of experience in SaaS, B2C/B2B, social networks, digital media and brand marketing. Previously he served as the COO of Product and Customer Success at WebMD.

Singh was recently employed by American Express, building the company's experiential business across the sports and entertainment landscape. 

Perrault has over 25 years of comprehensive human resources leadership and was a former executive with General Electric. She's spent the last six years as an independent consultant, focused primarily on change management and project management.

Hackney commented: "The opportunity to apply my experiences in scaling SaaS businesses to a vibrant sports entertainment platform is a thrilling challenge. Adam continues to recruit and build a world-class team, and I'm excited to be a part of what lies ahead."

PrizePicks is currently available in several US markets including California, Texas, Florida and Georgia.
