Caesars Entertainment has announced the launch of its sports wagering app Caesars Sportsbook in Kansas, following the state’s legalization of sports betting. The company follows in the footsteps of FanDuel who launched in the Sunflower State yesterday.
This launch expands Caesars' already-established footprint in the Midwest through its offering of entertainment experiences at gaming destinations such as Harrah's North Kansas City and Isle of Capri Hotel Boonville (in neighboring Missouri) and Harrah's and Horseshoe Council Bluffs in Iowa.
The Caesars Sportsbook app’s newest iteration boasts a number of features: additional ways to deposit funds, faster payouts, expanded ways to wager, a more intuitive interface; and thousands of additional markets.
The app also has Caesars Rewards enabled, a customer loyalty program, which offers both tier and reward credits – a system that benefits higher-risk bettors. There are six distinct card levels of Caesars Rewards membership, Gold, Platinum, Diamond Plus, Diamond Elite, Diamond, and Seven Stars. Each tier progressively offers a higher quality of rewards for customers.
As part of the Kansas launch, the company is offering ‘The Full Caesar’, where players who sign up and place their first bet will receive 1,000 tier credit and 1,000 reward credits. If the first bet isn’t a winning one, the player will receive a second free bet equal to the amount of their first wager (up to $1,250).
Caesars Digital co-President Eric Hession commented: “We're proud to deliver a world-class sports betting experience that matches the championship pedigree Kansas is known for. Our Caesars Sportsbook app has never been more user-friendly, and when you combine that with the once-in-a-lifetime opportunities offered through Caesars Rewards, we're thrilled about what we can bring to Kansas sports fans in time for football season."
