Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has appointed Angela Wong to the Vice President of Global Lottery Solutions position within the company. Wong has been with GLI since 2021 and previously served as Director of Lottery Solutions.
GLI Senior Vice President of Government Relations and General Counsel Kevin Mullally said: "The landscape for lotteries is changing rapidly, and we are confident in Angela’s ability to coordinate the highly specialized professionals from our global teams with our lottery clients to help them navigate the future of the industry."
Before her time with Gaming Laboratories International, Wong was director of the Montana Lottery. She was also a past president of the North American States and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL), holding several leadership positions over a decade.
Wong's appointment to her new position is just one of several moves made in August by GLI.
At the beginning of the month, the company promoted three client services staff to new positions. Patrick Cottingham moved up to Client Services Manager, while Jamie Garcia and Christos Karountzos are now Senior Account Executives.
Cottingham will work closely with GLI leadership to drive sales and support the growing team of Account Executives and Client Service Coordinators.
Senior Account Executives, Garcia and Karountzos will work closely with Cottingham and their respective account teams.
They'll also work with several departments located under the GLI banner including Engineering, Mathematics and Quality Assurance.
GLI VP of Client Services for North America Salim L. Adatia commented: "We could not be happier to see Patrick, Jamie and Christos advance upwards at GLI. Each has proven their abilities to support our growing customer base in the next chapters of their success."
Gaming Laboratories International has a global network of laboratory locations across six continents including the US.
