She brings over 20 years of industry marketing experience, working at several esteemed companies.

Aruze Gaming, a leading developer of casino entertainment solutions, has appointed Lesley Hodges as its senior director of marketing. Hodges brings with her more than 20 years of experience in gaming industry marketing to Aruze Gaming and its leadership team.

In her new role, Hodges will design, monitor, implement and direct the company’s marketing programs and overall strategy. She will be in charge of overseeing market research, product planning and advertising as the company grows its ‘Activ-Play’ gaming portfolio. Activ-Play is a blend of arcade and casino-style games, which is still relatively new to the market, so is in need of a marketing push.

Hodges previously worked at American Gaming Systems and Bluberi for seven years and two years, respectively. She was senior director of marketing at Blueberi from 2020 – 2022. Her extensive marketing experience in the gaming industry will come in useful as Aruze Gaming looks to continue the expansion of its market presence, where it hopes to be both a leader and an innovator.

Aruze Gaming president Rob Ziems: “Marketing supports sales teams and helps them support our customers. But, we are also the guardians and evangelists of the company’s brand across many audiences.

“From the frontline technicians in the field, all the way through every level of the organization, any communications we put out both internally and externally must always portray the company as what it is: an accessible, fun, intuitive and innovative gaming company that values its customers and its people.”

Hodges agrees with Ziems' appraisal about the importance of marketing, saying: “Marketing and communications are vital for sharing our vision with our customers and our partners. Being able to effectively communicate the strides we’re making in active play gaming is critical to our efforts to continuously innovate the gaming space and lead the way.”
