Light & Wonder (L&W) has appointed Roxane Lukas as its Chief People Capability Officer (CPCO). Lukas brings over 25 years of combined experience in the fields of organizational and leadership development, strategy, mentoring, talent management, executive coaching and facilitating transformation.
In her new role, Lukas will lead L&W’s ‘people strategy’ and direct its human resources functions to ensure the best possible business outcomes for the company. She will oversee the ‘centers for enterprise’, a program that aims to foster a high-performing, engaging and inclusive workplace for L&W’s 5,000+ employees (also designated as ‘creators’ by the company).
Critical areas that Lukas will assume responsibility for include business partnership; corporate social responsibility; diversity, equity and inclusion; talent management and learning and development.
Prior to joining L&W, Lukas was Chief People Officer for notable companies, such as Scopely Inc. and TechStyle Fashion Group, as well as serving as the Global Vice President of HR at video game giant Electronic Arts (EA).
She holds an MA degree in Executive Development from NYU, another MA in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica and a BA in Literature from Skidmore College.
