Intress Media, an affiliate marketing company, has launched an iGaming portal in Michigan, following its acquisition of a license from the state. This web portal is named iGamingMI.com and it aims to be the first-choice destination for Michigan online bettors.
This is the second license that Intress has received within the US market, following its entry into New Jersey in June. The company’s ultimate goal is to launch a network of iGaming portals in each regulated state across the US.
iGamingMI.com aims to build a safe community of gamblers who receive a plethora of news, reviews, education and entertainment from its platform. This blend of media intends to keep bettors informed and help them make more responsible choices around betting.
As it is now a Michigan-licensed media organization, the site will collaborate with online casinos that have been fully approved by the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB). The MGCB demands high standards of consumer protection and responsible gaming promotion.
iGamingMI.com will utilize in-depth knowledge of the industry to review casinos, software developers, games and more while connecting players with casino representatives.
Intress Product Manager Maryna Sokirko says: “Responsible gaming was a key watchword when Michigan chose to license and regulate online gaming and it’s also a key driver behind what we do.
“From what we see across multiple US affiliate projects, they seem to lack some of the advanced user-engaging techniques that we believe will help secure our position among leaders of the emerging but highly competitive US markets. While our short-term objective is launching projects in other regulated states, building a true, safe community of gamblers remains our ultimate goal.”
